The
new generation consists of children currently being born on earth very aware
of their spiritual nature and mission here. They have been referred to as
Psychic, Crystal, Rainbow, Indigo, Star and Millennium Children.

The Plot:
In this drama we are
lead to observe the magical relationship that develops between an estranged
grandfather, and his 10-year-old Indigo Girl granddaughter. Due to family
problems they are forced to go "on the run" to protect her from
a would-be kidnapper.

of The Indigo Child Movie |

The
Indigo Movie
was eagerly anticipated in January 2005 and arrived with much hype in
selected cinemas around the globe. It was a low-budget movie, done on
a fast timescale and clearly lacked in the "finesse" of some
other spiritual movies.
The subject of the
Indigo Child generation is a tough one to tackle and this film was meant
to bring "mainstream" people into the awareness of the indigo
child phenomenon.
In my opinion it tried hard, tried too hard in many areas, but in general
was a watchable movie weaving indigo magic. Many people loved it, many
people criticized it. For me these questions arose when I reviewed my
experience of watching it. Yes I saw a script that lacked in flowing cinematic
perfection, yes the Indigo girl was portrayed to have unusually extreme
abilities. But Think about this:
How do you project subtle psychic abilities cinematically - you need to
go for "effect"
How do you explain something in film, that is barely explainable, or able
to be put into a pigeon hole in "real life"
So I am glad I saw it and feel sure that it managed to embrace a subject
that has not been touched before and hopefully will trailblaze the way
for further indigo movies in the future.

tired of the endless "same old movies", choking violence and
in need of some uplifting, positive cinema then the Spiritual Cinema Circle
